About
Established in 1995, Guam System for Assistive Technology (GSAT) is just one of the several projects operated under University of Guam’s Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service (CEDDERS).
GSAT collaborates with various public and private agencies such as Guam Developmental Disabilities Council, Guam Legal Services Corporation, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Catholic Social Services, Guma Mami, the Guam Public School System, and numerous other parent and disability-related organizations.
GSAT’s Advisory Council
GSAT has an advisory council consisting of consumers and service providers. The purpose of the advisory council is to provide consumer-responsive, consumer-driven advice for planning of, implementation of, and evaluation of the activities carried out through the grant, including setting measurable goals for addressing the assistive technology needs of individuals with disabilities in Guam.
