Get Guam Teleworking (GGT) Loan Program


Do you need help financing the Assistive Technology device that will help you telework? Get Guam Teleworking (GGT) Loan Program can help you obtain an affordable financial loan so that you can purchase a needed Assistive Technology device or service.


Get Guam Teleworking is a federally funded program administered by the Guam Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service (CEDDERS). Its mission is to provide affordable financial loans to help individuals with disabilities purchase equipment in order to Telework.


What is Telework?

Telework is paid employment that is regularly performed at a place other than the employer’s office or place of business, such as a worker’s home or Telework center. You can telework either full-time or part-time, and paid self-employment is also considered Telework.


What can I purchase with a Get Guam Teleworking Loan?

You may be able to get an affordable financial loan to purchase any of the following types of work-related equipment:

  • Computers, printers and related peripherals,

  • Software

  • Fax machines

  • Scanners

  • Office machines, such as calculators

  • Telecommunication devices

  • Home modifications for accessibility and/or to create home offices.


Who can get a loan through Get Guam Teleworking?

To qualify for the GGT Loan Program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A Guam resident who is at least 18 years old who is

  • A person with a disability, who confirms Telework intent – employment with an existing business
    or self employment.

  • Applying for a GGT Loan is easy. Just call GSAT at735-2490/1 (v) or 735-2491 (TTY).


What if I need help completing the application?

If you have any questions or need assistance completing the application, GOAL-AT/ staff are available to guide you in the loan application process.
