The iPod touch is set up and synchronised using iTunes (which is accessible with VoiceOver on the Mac, JAWS version 10 and Window Eyes version 7, plus earlier versions of JAWS with j-Tunes). The user can choose between Voiceover (screen reader) and Zoom (magnifier), although both can’t be run at once due to them using different gestures. Both applications change the traditional gesture system used on the iPod to make it usable by people with vision impairment. By running various applications, the iPod assitive touch becomes a tool with virtually limitless solution!
